Dang-Deukhuri is a district inside Rapti zone in mid-western Nepal. It is the biggest valley in South Asia.

The armed conflict in Nepal had a huge impact on the area but after peace came in, the area has been developing rapidly. Tribhuvan Nagar, which has been recently renamed to Ghorahi municipality is growing as a commercial hub. Huge cement factories like the Ghorahi Cement Factory have opened up springing up economic activity to the surroundings.
